After all, the female body must not only produce a full-fledged egg, but also create conditions for conception and the course of a normal pregnancy. Any, even minor, malfunction in the work of a woman&#8217;s reproductive organs can make conception problematic.<\/p>\n<p>Infertility in women is a serious issue for many expectant mothers. Even doctors have not agreed on what kind of marriage is considered infertile. Someone believes that if pregnancy does not occur after six months of regular sexual life without contraception, you need to get tested. Someone thinks that you need to start no earlier than a year, or even three years. But the point is the same &#8211; infertility &#8211; and not a disease, it seems, but not quite health either &#8211; it exists and brings many difficult moments to many people.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Types of female infertility<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle; text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Primary female infertility &#8211; this diagnosis means that the woman has never been pregnant in the past. Primary female infertility, as a rule, can be caused by such factors as infantilism of the female genital organs, a violation of the anatomical location of the uterus, as well as dysfunction of the gonads, which is expressed in menstrual cycle disorders.<\/li>\n<li>The diagnosis of secondary female infertility is made if the woman has already been pregnant (does not depend on the outcome of this pregnancy), and difficulties with conception arose only later. The main causes of female secondary infertility can be disorders of the endocrine system, various gynecological diseases, the consequences of abortions, traumatic injuries to the genitals and much more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The causes of female infertility can be:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>1) Inflammatory diseases of the genital organs are the main cause of female infertility. Infectious diseases transmitted sexually, especially if they are asymptomatic and enter a chronic phase, which leads to female infertility. The cause of female infertility can be infections such as chlamydia, gonorrhea and others.<\/p>\n<p>2) Obstruction or absence of the uterine or fallopian tubes, into which the egg enters after ovulation and in which it meets with sperm. In the distal parts of the fallopian tubes, the sperm meets and merges with the egg, that is, fertilization occurs, as a result of which an embryo is formed. The embryo moves along the tube into the uterine cavity due to contractions of the muscular wall of the tube (peristalsis) and cilia (the epithelium lining the tube inside), which &#8220;drive&#8221; the embryo into the uterus. Fallopian tube obstruction is usually the result of adhesions caused by inflammation of the tubes. Sometimes it is the result of sterilization of a woman (tubal ligation or dissection). Absence of the fallopian tubes is observed after surgical removal of the tube, for example, in connection with an ectopic pregnancy or a purulent process in it.<\/p>\n<p>3) Adhesions in the pelvis &#8211; are a consequence of operations, inflammation, endometriosis. Adhesions can envelop the ovary or be located between the tube and the ovary, preventing the egg from entering the tube. In the case of a combination of tubal and peritoneal factors, we speak of tubal-peritoneal infertility.<\/p>\n<p>4) Endocrine (hormonal) disorders &#8211; can be a consequence of pathology of the ovaries (their exhaustion, polycystic ovary syndrome, etc.) and other endocrine (hypothalamus, pituitary, adrenal glands, thyroid gland) and non-endocrine organs (liver, kidneys, etc.). Metabolic disorders, mental stress, etc. can lead to endocrine infertility. Whatever the cause of endocrine infertility, its key point is always a breakdown of the ovulation mechanism.<br \/>\nHormonal disorders can also lead to the absence or decrease in the amount of &#8220;progesterone&#8221;, as a result of which even a normally fertilized egg cannot implant in the uterus, which leads to female infertility.<\/p>\n<p>5) Pathology or absence of the uterus &#8211; the organ in which the embryo is implanted and the fetus is carried out. Uterine pathology can be congenital (intrauterine septum, bicornuate uterus, uterine doubling, etc.) and acquired (removal or scarring of the uterus after surgery, uterine fibroids, endometritis, adenomyosis, polyposis, endometrial hyperplasia, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>6) Endometriosis, which is expressed in the growth of the uterine mucosa (endometrium) beyond its borders. Adhesions occur between the foci of endometriosis, which are the cause of tubo-peritoneal infertility.<\/p>\n<p>7) Immunological infertility is the \u201cdarkest\u201d problem of female infertility \u2013 the so-called incompatibility problem. In this case, the female body produces \u201cantibodies\u201d to the partner\u2019s sperm, which prevent them from fertilizing the egg. The spermatozoa become inactive, some of them die without fulfilling their function.<\/p>\n<p>8) Chromosomal pathology can lead to female sterility.<\/p>\n<p>9) Psychological infertility is considered the result of a woman\u2019s conscious or unconscious reluctance to have a child. Sometimes it is a fear of pregnancy and childbirth, sometimes a reluctance to have a child from this man, sometimes resistance to changes in appearance that pregnancy can lead to, etc.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Female infertility is more multifaceted than male infertility.
